Our Mission

Whisper Community is a Vancouver, Washington-based 501(c)3 non-profit aiming to provide equitable access to youth running participation for athletes in Southwest Washington by helping families overcome financial barriers that inhibit participation.

In fulfilling our mission, we partner with schools, athletic clubs, businesses, and other youth-focused athletic organizations throughout Southwest Washington who share our desire to make children’s lives better through the world of sport participation.

Why our mission matters

Children from economically challenged households often face financial barriers that limit may limit sport participation. By reducing these barriers, Whisper Community expands access to the physical, mental, and social benefits of youth sports, helping young athletes build confidence, resilience, and stronger academic outcomes.
